Overview

Tag4you helps you organize your photos, it allows you to find them and enjoy them even more. Our goal is to enable searching photos by their content just like searching web pages is based on content. The first step is to automatically tag your photos by identifying the people in your photos. We automatically analyze your photos and tag them by the content. These tags are later used to search your photos. With the mass amount of photo's in today's world tagging photos is essential. Today's tagging process is tedious Tag4you will make it a breeze.

Our service has been publicly available since December 2007 and have since tagged tens of thousands of photos. Our face recognition system is currently in a closed beta, if you are interested in this face recognition part you can apply here

We use face detection and face recognition algorithms that have been developed especially for searching photos. Regular photo albums contain photos of people in different lighting, pose, background to say the least they are not a passport pictures. Searching these kinds of photos is a challenging task. We have a long way to go but believe we did the first small step.

How does it work

We read your photos from flickr or facebook, extract the faces from the photos, recognize them and after your approval we tag them. If the person is not automatically recognized you can recognize him manually. When you identify the person you help train the system to better recognize that person so that in the future we can recognize him better automatically.
